Chicken Cordon Bleu & Everything

I skipped the breading and added Everything Bagel seasoning to this classic. It was a great way to use up leftover ham slices. The result was AMAZING! Preheat your oven to 350 and get ready to serve this sliced with Priano Rosso Pesto on the side. So good!



Shopping List:

  • Simply Nature Organic Chicken breasts (1 per person)

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Aldi Lacey Swiss Sliced Cheese (1 slice per chicken breast)

  • Aldi Provolone Sliced Cheese (1-2 slices per chicken breast)

  • Applewood Farms Bone-in Ham Slices (finely diced; 1/4 cup per chicken breast)

  • Little Salad Bar Flat Leaf Spinach (small handful per chicken breast)

  • Stonemill Everything Bagel Seasoning

  • Priano Rosso Pesto Sauce (for dipping)

Recipe

  1. Split the chicken breasts in half, flatten to about 1/4" thick, and season with salt and pepper.

  2. Lay cheese slices evenly over chicken, add ham, finish with spinach leaves.

  3. Roll each chicken breast and secure with toothpicks.

  4. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Everything Bagel Seasoning.

  5. Sear in a hot sauté pan and finish in a 350 degree oven until cooked through.
