Chicken Pot Pie

This comforting meal is perfect for chilly weather. The bold ingredients may be found at Aldi.



Ingredients:

  • 12 oz Season's Choice Steamtable Frozen Mixed Vegetable

  • 1/3 C salted butter

  • 1/3 C flour

  • 1/3 C chopped onion

  • 1/2 t sea salt

  • 1/4 t cracked black pepper

  • 1 3/4 C Swanson Chicken Broth

  • 2/3 C milk

  • 3 Kirkwood Garlic & Herb Seasoned Chicken Breasts, baked, chopped

  • 1 pkg Bake House Creations Refrigerated Ready to Bake Pie Crusts, 2 count

Recipe:

  1. Rinse veggies to separate.

  2. Melt butter in a saute pan and whisk in flour. Cook briefly.

  3. Remove from heat. Add milk and broth.

  4. Bring to boil and reduce to simmer. Cook until thickened.

  5. Add cooked meat and vegetables.

  6. Pour mixture in pie pan between 2 pie crusts. Slit top crust to vent.

  7. Cook at 425 for 35 minutes or until hot and golden.

  8. Rest before cutting.
